Do you build fully custom ute canopies?
Yes. Every D.A.M. canopy is designed and fabricated to suit your vehicle, your requirements and the way you use it. We don't work from standard canopy packages or fixed internal layouts.
Why choose a custom canopy instead of a standard package?
A package requires you to adapt your setup around a predetermined design. With a custom D.A.M. canopy, the design is built around you. Storage, access, electrical systems, accessories and internal layout can all be configured around exactly what you need.
Can I customise the internal layout of my canopy?
Absolutely. Drawer systems, adjustable shelving, fridge slides, tool storage, compartments, work areas and other features can all be positioned to suit your individual work, touring or recreational requirements.
Can you build a canopy for both work and touring?
Yes. A custom build is ideal when your vehicle needs to perform more than one role. We can design hybrid setups that provide practical tool and equipment storage for work while incorporating touring, camping and recreational features.
Can electrical systems be integrated into the canopy?
Yes. D.A.M. designs and installs custom electrical systems in-house. These can range from lighting and power outlets through to dual battery systems, DC-DC charging, solar, inverters, monitoring and complete off-grid power systems.
What accessories can be incorporated into a custom canopy?
Almost every part of the fitout can be customised. Options include drawer units, shelving, fridge slides, lift-up and bi-fold doors, ladder racks, roof racks, spare wheel carriers, jerry can holders, water storage, central locking, electrical systems and trade-specific storage.
